Some of the ministries at TCN are highlighted below, but there are many other ways to get involved and serve. These include worship, multimedia, security, lawn care, building maintenance, prayer, ushers, greeters, Sunday School, and more. Whatever your gifts and interests may be, there is a place for you to serve and become part of the life of our church family.
Children's Ministry
At Tri County Nazarene, we believe every child is deeply loved by God and has a special place in His family. Our children’s ministries are designed to help kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Christ in everyday life. We provide fun, age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn, worship, serve, and grow together.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School classes provide a welcoming environment where children can learn about God and His Word through engaging Bible lessons, activities, crafts, and meaningful conversations. Each week, children are encouraged to ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of God’s love.
Sunday Children’s Church
Children’s Church gives kids an exciting and interactive way to experience worship and learn about Jesus. Through Bible stories, music, games, object lessons, and hands-on activities, children discover biblical truths in ways that are meaningful and fun. Our goal is to help every child know that they are loved by God and can have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Wednesday Children’s Programming
Wednesday evenings are a time for children to connect, learn, and grow while families participate in our FAST Wednesday ministries. Our children’s programming provides age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities, games, and opportunities to build lasting friendships. We want Wednesdays to be a place where kids look forward to coming, feel welcomed and valued, and continue growing in their faith throughout the week.

Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is a growing and active ministry led by our Youth Pastor, Zane Sanders. Our teens gather each week for Sunday School and again on Wednesday evenings for Bible study, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
In addition to their regular weekly gatherings, our youth enjoy a variety of activities, special events, trips, and opportunities to serve others through missions and outreach.
Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where teens can build meaningful friendships, grow in their relationship with Christ, and discover how God can use them to make a difference in the lives of others.
Men's Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for men to grow in their faith, build friendships, and serve together.
From September through May, the men meet weekly for Bible study and fellowship. We also gather for prayer breakfasts every other month and participate in church workdays and other service opportunities throughout the year.
And sometimes, it’s just good to have some fun together! Several of our guys enjoy getting together for pistol shooting, golf outings, barbecue, and fellowship.
In all of these activities—studying God’s Word, praying together, serving others, or simply enjoying time together—our Men’s Ministry encourages men to grow in their relationship with Christ and with one another.
Women's Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry provides opportunities throughout the year for women to grow in faith, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful time together.
We gather periodically for socials, dinners, crafts, missions projects, and other special activities. At times, we welcome guest speakers who encourage and inspire us. At other times, one of our own ladies shares from her heart and life experiences.
We recognize the busy schedules and many responsibilities of today’s women and mothers, so we strive to make each gathering meaningful and worthwhile.
In every setting—whether sharing a meal, serving others, learning together, or simply enjoying one another’s company—we cherish the moments we have together and warmly welcome women of all ages to join us.
Empty Nesters
Our Empty Nesters Ministry is a welcoming group where friendships are formed, faith is strengthened, and life is enjoyed together.
The group gathers weekly for a home Bible study and enjoys a variety of activities throughout the year, including restaurant outings, game days, short trips, and opportunities to serve alongside other ministries in our church.
Sharing a meal, enjoying an adventure, studying God’s Word, or lending a helping hand, there is always something to enjoy—and someone to enjoy it with.

Missions
Missions is an important and active part of the ministry of our church. Throughout the year, we look for practical ways to share the love of Christ with people in our community and around the world.
Locally, we support New Life Mission in Hamilton, provide back-to-school backpacks for children in need, and sponsor one or more families at Christmas. Globally, we assemble Crisis Care Kits for people affected by disasters and other hardships and make dresses for the Dress-a-Girl ministry.
We are also blessed to support the Myatts as they serve the Lord in Papua New Guinea. Their ministry gives our congregation a personal connection to the work God is doing around the world.
We help our children learn about Nazarene missionaries serving in other countries and receive two special Alabaster Offerings each year to support missions.
Along with these ongoing ministries, we participate in a variety of other missions projects and special events throughout the year. Whether our mission field is across town or across the globe, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving others and sharing His love.
Wednesdays at 6:30
Our Wednesday evening ministries are called FAST – Fellowship and Study Together. With opportunities for all ages and a variety of interests, there is something for everyone. About every seven weeks, we take a planned break for fellowship and fun, giving our leaders and congregation a chance to refresh, recharge, and return ready for the next session.
